“The house is well appointed and quite a spacious house with fantastic views (just takes your breath away as you come up to the living area), all the facilities you would want or need, great kitchen, very clean and superb living spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms. Short walk to the near empty beach and we enjoyed the climb back uphill- we went to beach twice a day. I travelled with a group of 10, and 4 members were elderly - which the steep driveway was a problem for but it didn’t bother me or my family. Owner, Deborah is very timely and helpful with her communications (I asked a tonne of questions)! We spent time exploring the many wineries close by and Gerringong town. My only regret is that we didn’t book the horse riding or farm tours ahead of time- there is Beuna Vista farm literally 5min drive from the house if you are travelling with young ones that may love that sort of thing. I couldn’t fault the house and location, will definitely book again to stay at the Blue Salt. I miss Gerroa already! Nellie Sept 20”

“I spent a stunning and memorable New Year at Blue Salt and the atmosphere there in Gerroa was magnificent. Many of the houses were lit up and boats that were lit up could be seen in the water. Perched on the hillside gave me a great opportunity to see the panorama. When midnight struck the view from the balcony exploded into a magnificent and continuous display of elaborate fireworks from Gerringong round to the Shoalhaven Heads, Culburra Beach and Beecroft Peninsula. It was wonderful to watch. I have never quite experienced such a lovely display. I will never forget this New Year at this house and hope to be able to come again sometime soon.”

“I spent an exceptional couple of days at Blue Salt with my family in the July school holidays. The house was spectacular! This must be one of the best houses in Gerroa-it would be hard to beat. It was immaculately clean, tastefully furnished and decorated with lots of amenities. But the stand out feature was the views through a wall of glass or from the decks of the Seven Mile Beach, the ocean and the river. And the exceptional wood burner which warmed the whole upper floor. A very effective air conditioning unit warmed the house during the day. The bedrooms were very warm as well with warm bedding, a heater and two throws each. My children loved their separate living room, whilst the adults enjoyed having the upper floor to themselves. The house is large and private, not cramped in on top of neighbours. I would love to come back later on and enjoy the summer experience. The hosts were very helpful and attentive.”

The weather was perfect but cool enough at night to use the wood burner which was the icing on the cake. “I really enjoyed my time at Blue Salt over the Anzac weekend. I have been before. The weather was stunning as was the view of the ocean from the upper deck whilst I enjoyed my magnificent local seafood lunch and bottle of white with my friends. The water and sky merged becoming a sheet of blue and the sight and sound of the waves rolling in was very relaxing. The wood burner at night crackled away as it heated the whole of the top floor living area. This place has become my South Coast base.”

“Shortly before Christmas, eight family members used this property for a get together. It is very well appointed with magnificent, sweeping views of the coast line. Both the public and private spaces are generous, light and airy. The kitchen is well equipped. The property would also suit those with younger children, as there is a large separate rumpus/second lounge. The property was very clean and the style and design was relaxing and uplifting. I would thoroughly recommend this property for a group of 6-8 people.”
